A cooperation of 9 African, 27 Asian and 14 German NGOs working in the field of development cooperation. It is a unique concept as it intends to identify and develop, jointly with all partners some genuine concepts and tools for NGOs in the areas of Outcome and Impact Assessment and Monitoring & Evaluation (M&E).

DIPSHIKHA

With an envision "Poverty free, just and peaceful society" Dipshikha was initiated in 1978 by a group of social workers, teachers and youths in the village of Rudrapur, under the district of Dinajpur of northern Bnagladesh. It was registered with the Social Welfare Department in 1984 and Foreign Donation Ordinance in 1985. Gradually, Dipshikha is expanding its activities and at present Dipshikha is working in 7 Upazilas of 2 Districts in the northern part of Bangladesh. Sphere of Operation: Agricultural Extension and Farmers Training Group/Family Savings and Income Generation Activities Village Education and Cultural Awareness Health and Family Planning Human and Skill Development Training Women Capacity Building Human Rights and Good Governance Emergency Relief and Rehabilitation Activities Monitoring, Evaluation, Research and Reporting Dipshikha is working with the disadvantaged rural poor to bring positive change of their lives through Integrated Development Approach (IDA) since its inception. From the experiences and deeper reflection in the field of rural development, Dipshikha has developed a new concept to make the IDA more intensive and scientific to improve the living conditions of the rural people. The concept is Integrated Family Development Approach (IFDA). Here a family is considered to be the center of all development efforts. All the members of the family are brought as stakeholders of the IFD.
